Painting of my mother-in-law Roopa Sharma – ‘Offering water to Tulsi’. She is the source of inspiration behind this art.

The inspiration strikes when I see my mother worshiping Tulsi by offering water everyday. She believed that the daily worship and care of the Tulsi plant is the responsibility of the women of the household. She is living apart now and keeps reminding me to take care of the plant.

This is the gift as a token of love & respect, expressing through my art.
